Manka Boutique Pop Festival 2017

On 14-15 July, the 12th Manka Boutique Pop Festival will be held in Tallinn, treating the audience to an excellent selection of very diverse music styles.


This year’s Manka Boutique Pop Festival will be held in the inner courtyard of the Kumu Art Museum (14.07) and in cooperation with the Tallinn Maritime Days at the Seaplane Harbour (15.07) and. Daytime concerts are free, while the performances on the night stage at the club Von Krahl in the Old Town have minimal entrance fees.


Russia: Red Samara Automobile Club – Felix Bondarev lived in Tallinn and played here garage rock. Now he is famous and fruitful producer and musician from St Petersburg, co-author of the Project „Schenki“ and has collaborated with such artists like Sansara, Makulatura, Alisa Voks, overseas with The Brian Jonestown Massacre. He mixes everything what now is counted as hype: hip-hop, rave, post-punk, noise-rock. Last year released duplex album, what was marked by all Russian modern music media and lately – new release “Third World Dances”.

Belarus: Microcabaret – musicians from Belarusian cabaret-band Кабаре-бэнд “Серебряная Свадьба” will perform with their new project in music-theatrical performance.

Finland: Pintandwefall  ̶  girls indie-pop band from Vantaa. Their new 2017 years album is convincing, melodic and full of drive and hits.

Estonia: So Simple – indie pop.

Sny Matildy – post punk.

PVC 16 – electro punk.

Ilja & Arthur – russian rock.

Rakuta – electro pop.

Modulstein – Aleksandr Zedeljov aka Faershtein new future jazz project.

Pink Pong – fusion.

Valhalla – other.
